The first team to capture all three shrines and defend them until time runs out or the team which has the most offerings when time runs out will be declared the winner. Tribute - Teams have to steal offerings from opposing shrines, while defending their own, and place them on their own which will grant them a power-up.The team that eliminates the other first will win. Elimination - A four-on-four duel on a bigger battlefield.Once a team earns enough points, they will have to eliminate the other team to win the match. Instead, points are earned from killing certain enemies instead of by capturing points. Skirmish - This is essentially the same as dominion, minus the objectives.The first player or team to win three rounds of five wins. Brawl is the same except it is two-on-two. Duel is when you try to defeat another player in a one-on-one duel to the death. Duel and Brawl - These are two game modes that are essentially the same.The team that kills all the players of the breaking team will win. Once a team reaches 1000 points, the other will begin to break, meaning they cannot respawn unless revived. Dominion - Capture and secure objectives on a battlefield which give you 100 points for securing them - 100 points you can lose if the enemy team secures them.

There are a few other different modes in the game to play. Members of this class include the lawbringer, centurion, gryphon, valkyrie, highlander, nobushi, arumusha, shaolin, and zhanhu.

Hybrid - Hybrids are a combination class of two of the above three categories and have some skills limited to them.

A good defensive class for holding point, heroes in this category include the conqueror, black prior, warlord, jormungandr, shugoki, hitokiri, and jiang jun.

Heavy - These are tanks that are more resistant to damage at the cost of having slower attacks.

Heroes of this class include the peacekeeper, gladiator, berserker, shaman, orochi, shinobi, and nuxia. You also have to constantly shift blocking directions with them since they will expire after a short duration.

Assassin - They are quick and efficient at dueling enemies but their attacks don't deal as much damage as some, making them better in one-on-one fights.

Heroes belonging to the vanguard class include the warden, raider, kensei, tiandi, and warmonger.
